A Fish Cupcake

I made this cupcake for my birthday.  It came out of a cupcake book that I got.  I used circus peanuts, fruit loops, m&ms, jelly beans,  and jaw breakers to make it.

The Ocean

For this ocean scene from Hawaii I used similar effects to the Whale Island.  The only difference is that instead of using a cutout effect I used a posterize effect which caused the lines to be more defined. 

Whale Cutout

This was a picture I took in Hawaii of an island known as Whale Island because of the shape and look of it.  I used a cutout effect that changed how the picture looked.  I also used a poster effect on the different layers of color in the picture which contributes to it being such different colors.

Hawaiian Sunset

This was taken in Hawaii and it is a lot more colorful than the actual sunset was.  This is because I changed the colors a little bit.  I also used a cutout effect which causes the image to look less sharp than it normally would.

White Flower

This was taken while at the Arboretum.  I used a chrome effect for the border along with a black border between that and the rest of the picture.  The rest is just the normal picture

Palm Tree

This was taken the Conservatory at the Como Zoo.  I used a multiply effect to darken the picture and make the colors stand out again.  I also pixilated the background of the picture making the palm stand out.

A Bee in its Natural Habitat

This was taken at the Arboretum.  It has been pixilated and the color has been changed to be reflected more vividly.

A Whale of a Tale

The title of this picture comes from the fact that inside of the picture I put a small whale that I drew.  This was a just a fun picture put together for a friend.

The Ocean and a Flower

This is a combination of two completely different pictures that come together to make the final picture.  The more visible picture was one taken in Hawaii and the other is a flower that was taken while I was bike riding around Lake Calhoun.

The Moon in trees

For this picture I used a combination of a moon picture and treetops.  I edited the colors so that they fit together a better and only made a very slight ripped edge effect.  

Pop Art flower

I took this at the arboretum it was among the dahlia flowers.  I cut the flower out of the picture so the background could be edited.  I used a poster effect on that as well as the center of the flower.

Violet Flower

I took this picture while on a bike ride one day.  It has a glass effect in the background and the flower is separated many times with the black in between.

Pink Petaled Flower

This was a flower from the Arboretum.  I used a mosaic tile effect on the petals and a glass distort for the background to make the flower the focal point.

Treetops

This was taken at an apple orchard.  It's very green and beautiful like spring which is why I used that word.

A Bee

This was a picture taken at the arboretum.  The effect added to this picture was the word buzz which is for the sound the bee makes.

Old Boat House

This was taken in Newfoundland while I was kayaking.  It looks like an old boat house and it's off the coast of the bay we kayaked in.  The effect is similar to the one used on the Canadian flag it just has a darker border.

Canadian Flag

This is a picture I took while in Newfoundland, Canada.  I used a burnt edge effect to it so it appears to have a natural border to it.

Dahlia Flower

This is a picture I took at the state fair of a very cool flower called a Dahlia.  This is a very interesting flower because it has its own society.  If you want to learn more about them or look at more pictures you can go to http://www.dahlia.org/.

A Tulip

This is a picture that I found and edited so that the background was one color and blurred with a sharp image inside the white frame.
